Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Tessera app and website (the “Service”), provided by Satyam Saluja (“we,” “us”). By using Tessera, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
This is also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Tessera app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tessera. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple to create an account. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your Apple ID secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. What Tessera does
Tessera helps you save links to videos from third-party platforms, organize them into Tiles, and find them again later. Tessera is an organizer for links and their preview details — it does not host, stream, download, or store the videos themselves; playback happens on the original platform.
Tessera is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or any other platform. The availability of any saved video depends entirely on the source platform and may change or disappear outside our control.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You’re responsible for the links and content you save and the notes you add. You agree that your use of the Service complies with the terms and policies of the platforms you save from, and with applicable copyright and other laws. You agree not to use Tessera to:
- save, store, or share content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have the right to use;
- abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or build a competing service from the app; or
- use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law.
You keep all rights to the content you create in Tessera (your Tiles, notes, and the links you save). You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content back to you so the Service can function.
5. Tessera Pro and purchases
Tessera is free to use with a limit on the number of Tiles you can create. Tessera Pro is an optional, one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited Tiles — it is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
- Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, under Apple’s terms.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.
- You can restore a previous purchase using the “Restore Purchases” option in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store’s refund policy.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, and OneSignal) and links to content on third-party platforms. We’re not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third parties, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.
7. Service changes and availability
We’re an independent product and may add, change, or remove features, or interrupt or discontinue the Service, at any time. We’ll try to avoid disruption where reasonable, but we don’t guarantee the Service will always be available or error-free.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that saved videos will remain available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using Tessera and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm other users, third parties, or us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use Tessera after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you may have that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
